This is Waylon, the Plott Hound. He is approximately 10 years old. He would do best in a home with adult children. Even though he is older he still has plenty of spunk. As you can see by Waylon’s large smile he is an extremely happy guy. He loves other dogs to play with. Waylon has been in the rescue for 4 years. He was surrendered by his elderly owner because she could no longer care for him. Waylon was kept in dog kennel on concrete. We actually had to take him out into the grass to show him it was alright to go out run around. Now that is all history. Waylon’s favorite thing to do is chase butterflies. He will actually jump straight up in the air with all four paws off the ground trying to catch them. He has never been successful at catching one.
